UIBE Student Wins National First Prize in 21st Century Cup, Enters Top 10
On November 17, 2025, exciting news arrived from the final of the 30th China Daily "21st Century Cup" National English Speaking Competition held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Lan Jinhong, an undergraduate student from the Class of 2024 at the China School of Banking and Finance (supervised by Li Yuxia from the School of International Studies), demonstrated solid language proficiency, quick thinking, and outstanding cross-cultural communication skills, earning a first prize in the national final and securing a spot in the top ten nationally. This marks the second consecutive year that a UIBE student has advanced to the national finals of this competition, and the first time since 2020 that a UIBE student has ranked among the top ten nationally, fully showcasing the exceptional English application skills and comprehensive qualities of our students.
