SIS Students Win Gold and Silver in 2025 FLTRP·ETIC Cup English Interpretation Competition (Beijing Section)
On November 1, 2025, the Beijing round of the 2025 FLTRP·ETIC Cup "Understanding Contemporary China" National Foreign Language Ability Competition (English Interpretation Category) was held at the School of Interpreting and Translation of Beijing Foreign Studies University. Representing UIBE, Li Shuxian and Liu Qin (Master’s in Interpretation, Class of 2024), along with Gao Tianzuo (Master’s in Interpretation, Class of 2025), competed against more than 80 participants from various universities in Beijing. After two intense rounds, Li Shuxian won the gold medal and advanced to the national finals, while Gao Tianzuo and Liu Qin claimed the silver and bronze medals, respectively. Their achievements reflect solid professional skills and remarkable composure under pressure.
